...Firebox.com

Ever think of a site where you can find almost every random gift, present or just pointless stuff that you have no need for but you've always wished you had but weren't sure you could buy... well now it's available from a website called Firebox.
I'm not trying to advertise the site but I think it's one site where you can find it all, and I'll definitely be buying my presents this year from the Firebox, everything from Emergency clown noses to weird wacky and wonderful things such as the Villain Chair, which despite being fairly pricey would complete the whole evil lair image that you've all being trying so hard to achieve.

the WTF?! section of the website is definitely worth a mention and if you do happen to have a few million pounds lying around the place then you might be able to even buy some of the items in there, as this includes such items as what is basically a 4 seat car but instead of wheels it has jets and take off and land vertically and fly at speeds of up to 380mph and for only a low price of £324,000. However for those of us who don't have ridiculous piles of cash just around the place or for those who need to buy some Christmas presents then the gifts section has 30 pages full of some ingenious and quirky ideas for presents. Anyone a Harry Potter fan? well you can find replica wands and house badges there, Star Wars and Star Trek all feature on the site.

And for all those bacon lovers out there then you'll find lots of things to your liking, such as bacon popcorn, bacon soap, baconaise and bacon toothpaste, and for those who want to smell of bacon there is also bacon perfume.
Those who have read the post previous to this will know that I'm after a MusucBag for Christmas, now it's one of those things I just stumbled across once while I was wasting some time on Firebox and just instantly wanted one, that's probably the worst thing about Firebox, there are so many things that you want but you just don't have enough money or time to buy them all...dilemmas, dilemmas.

Just thought I ought to mention it, as anyone who is struggling to find a gift for someone this year, or just wants to buy themselves something random and pointless because they're bored then Firebox is definitely the site for you to trawl through for a few hours, http://www.firebox.com/. Thanks guys hope you don't mind me going on a bit and hopefully you'll like what you find at Firebox. Cheers for reading

...MusucBags - I know what I want for christmas this year

To get away from Ice Hockey in this post I'm going to talk about a what is in my opinion a brilliant invention and frankly an awesome product, the MusucBag... despite the weird name I'm putting one on my Christmas list.

Now I know that I find perhaps the most annoying thing about being in a sleeping bag is that you're just about warm and comfy and then either you remember something you need to fetch or somewhere you need to go in the house, then the worst bit about sleeping bags is the getting out of it and unfortunately having to face to cold. Well the lovely people who thought of the MusucBag seem to have solved that problem but creating what is a sleeping bag suit, with arms and legs, so if you need to walk around and fetch something there will be no more sleeping bag scooting that more often than not end in an uncomfortable position, that of your face on the floor.

Now that's a sleeping bag I want

And those clever people seem to have though of everything, with the top of the line classic model, enjoying a belt and feet strap for better fit, the ability to get you hands out without taking it off, a chest pocket and many other features that look like they make the MusucBag the most practical and comfortable sleeping bag out there at the moment. And the top model being on £99 it isn't too much of a high price for what looks like the best piece of lounge/camp wear around at the moment... Well I know what I'll be asking jolly old Saint Nick for this year. I recommend that if anyone is in need of a new sleeping bag this year then be sure to check them out at http://www.musucbag.com/en/index.html
Thanks guys if you're reading, tried to get away from hockey now. That's all from me

...Sidney Crosby Back And On Form!!

Sidney Crosby on his Season debut on Monday night- image courtesy of TSN

Well ever ready to eat my own words I was wrong it seems as just a few hours after my previous post Sidney Crosby was confirmed to play for the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday's game against the New York Islanders

It seems that the time spent recovering after the injury was time well spent as his season debut was a spectacular one, the headline on NHL.com (link on the sidebar) being Sid-sational Return.

A game by all accounts any player would be proud of especially after a 10 months absence, With Sidney Crosby scoring 2 goals himself and adding a further 2 goals assists to the score sheet leading the Penguins to a decisive victory over the Islanders the final score being Pittsburgh Penguins 5 goals to the New York Islanders 0, what a result all round!!
Quick recap then, Sid is back and definitely out to make sure he loses no more time catching up, the Pens look to be going strong if that crushing win over the Islanders is anything to go by!
That's all for now though, thanks if you're reading

...Sidney Crosby still not ready to play

Not that I am trying to go on about hockey or anything but I feel I should follow up my first post... Unfortunately for myself and Pittsburgh Penguins fans everywhere Sidney Crosby didn't return to the ice on Saturday night and to add insult to an already extensive injury the pens then suffered a 2-3 loss against the Florida Panthers. Sad Times.
Anyway not to carry on too much I am going to finish this post on a high note by saying that despite how badly the penguins may need Sid(ney Crosby) back on the ice he is travelling with the team and so hopefully it will only be a very short matter of time...we can live in hope eh?
Thanks guys that's all from me for now

...The possible return of Sidney Crosby

Crosby during the 2007 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs
First post on the blog and well quite frankly I'm a fan of ice hockey, always loved the game and it's a real exciting sport to watch either from the side of the rink or on the telly. A lot of people don't follow ice hockey and so may be a bit baffled by talk of open ice body checks and other things however get yourself onto YouTube and check out some ice hockey clips on there, classic favourites are always the big hits but they are all good viewing and certainly worth a watch in my view...

Back on subject now anyway and if anyone was ever to ask what National Hockey League team i support the answer is most definitely the Pittsburgh Penguins, got to love those pens, again back on track and those followers of hockey will know that the penguins suffered the loss of their captain Sidney Crosby to concussion suffered almost an entire year ago, but now importantly one of the big players in the NHL could be returning to the ice this weekend after such a long period out...it remains to be seen whether he will return or not and what will happen if he does. So all in all big things could happen this weekend in the world of hockey, and if you don't have any idea what that was all about then get yourself over to YouTube and check out some excellent footage of a brilliant game, who knows you might even like it.
Anyhow that's all from me...
